Time Until Procedural Intervention in Female Bladder Pain Syndrome at a Tertiary Referral Center in the United States

The authors aimed to evaluate the time from diagnosis to procedural intervention in women with female bladder pain syndrome (FBPS) and identify predictors of such interventions. Their study found that 74.5% of patients underwent at least one procedural intervention within a median time of 1.08 years, with stress urinary incontinence and tobacco use being significant predictors of intervention.
