Prolapse Education Video for Patient Satisfaction: A Randomized Clinical Trial
Listen to this summary
The authors aimed to determine whether a previsit educational video on pelvic organ prolapse (POP) would enhance patient satisfaction with management decisions. While the video did significantly improve patients' knowledge of POP, it did not lead to increased satisfaction with decision-making compared to the control group. Overall, the study suggests that while educational videos can enhance understanding, they may not directly influence decision satisfaction.
