Early Versus Delayed Laparoscopic Repair of Surgically Induced Vesicovaginal Fistula

This study investigates whether early laparoscopic repair of surgically induced vesicovaginal fistula (VVF) within three weeks post-injury is as effective and safe as delayed repair after three months. The findings indicate that both early and delayed repairs have comparable surgical success rates and complication profiles, suggesting that early intervention may be a viable treatment option that alleviates patient suffering without increasing morbidity.
