The authors aimed to compare the long-term clinical outcomes of patients with bicuspid versus tricuspid aortic valve morphology following transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) using contemporary balloon-expandable valves. Their study found no significant differences in all-cause mortality, heart failure rehospitalization, stroke, or other key outcomes between the two groups over a median follow-up of 1,511 days. Overall, the findings suggest that TAVR outcomes are comparable for patients with either valve morphology.
