2-Year Patient-Centered and Clinical Outcomes of Sirolimus- Versus Paclitaxel-Coated Balloon Angioplasty in Femoropopliteal Artery Disease

This study aimed to compare the 2-year patient-centered and clinical outcomes of sirolimus-coated balloon (SCB) versus paclitaxel-coated balloon (PCB) angioplasty in patients with femoropopliteal artery disease. The findings indicated that SCB angioplasty achieved comparable improvements in vascular quality of life, clinical outcomes, primary patency, and safety to PCB angioplasty, suggesting that SCB may be a viable alternative to PCB in this patient population.
