Vulvar Crohn's-Case Series and Review of Treatment With Ustekinumab

The authors aim to explore the effectiveness of ustekinumab in treating cutaneous vulvar Crohn's disease (VCD), a rare and challenging condition. Through a case series of three patients, they demonstrate that ustekinumab can lead to remission in some cases, while also highlighting the importance of individualized treatment approaches based on disease characteristics and patient history. The findings suggest that interleukin inhibitors may be a valuable option for patients with refractory VCD, especially after failure of TNF-alpha inhibitors.
