Tagraxofusp, Azacitidine, and Venetoclax in Blastic Plasmacytoid Dendritic Cell Neoplasm

Listen to this summary

The authors aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of a combination therapy involving Tagraxofusp (TAG), Azacitidine (AZA), and Venetoclax (VEN) in patients with blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm (BPDCN). In a phase 2 study, they found that the combination therapy resulted in high composite complete remission rates of 88% in previously untreated patients and 64% in relapsed/refractory patients, with manageable safety concerns, thereby supporting its potential as a new treatment option for BPDCN.
