Adjuvant Pembrolizumab plus Belzutifan for Renal-Cell Carcinoma

Listen to this summary

The authors aimed to determine whether the combination of adjuvant pembrolizumab and belzutifan improves disease-free survival in patients with resected clear-cell renal-cell carcinoma at high risk for recurrence. The results showed that this combination therapy significantly increased disease-free survival compared to pembrolizumab alone, although it was associated with a higher incidence of severe adverse events. Overall survival rates did not differ significantly between the two treatment groups at the interim analysis.
