Association of community-level social vulnerability with county-level clinical trial access among ovarian cancer patients

This study investigates the relationship between community-level social vulnerability and the availability of clinical trials for ovarian cancer across U.S. counties from 2008 to 2021. The authors found that higher social vulnerability is significantly associated with lower access to clinical trials, indicating structural inequities in trial availability. The findings underscore the need for strategies to improve access to clinical trials in socially vulnerable communities.
