Intraprocedural Pain During Intradetrusor Onabotulinum Toxin-A Injections: A Clinical Evaluation of Pain Distribution

This study aimed to evaluate the distribution and intensity of intraprocedural pain during intradetrusor onabotulinumtoxinA injections, specifically examining variations in pain perception based on gender, diagnosis, and injection site among patients with idiopathic detrusor overactivity, neurogenic detrusor overactivity, and wet overactive bladder. The results indicated that while overall pain levels were moderate, para-trigonal injections were particularly painful for patients with wet overactive bladder, suggesting that region-specific sensitivity should be considered to enhance procedural comfort.
