EXTRAPERITONEAL PELVIC AND PARA-AORTIC LYMPHADENECTOMY VIA VAGINAL NATURAL ORIFICE TRANSLUMINAL ENDOSCOPIC SURGERY IN ENDOMETRIAL CANCER: A CASE REPORT

The authors aim to demonstrate the feasibility of extraperitoneal pelvic and para-aortic lymphadenectomy for staging endometrial cancer using vaginal natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery (vNOTES). The case report details a successful procedure performed on a 64-year-old woman, highlighting the benefits of this scarless approach, including reduced postoperative pain and minimal abdominal trauma, while noting the need for further studies to compare its efficacy to traditional laparoscopic methods.
