The Erkilinc Technique for vNOTES Hysterectomy: A Speculum-Assisted Approach Without Prior Vaginal Dissection: A 163-Case Series

The authors aimed to evaluate the feasibility, safety, and learning curve of a novel speculum-assisted glove-port technique for vNOTES hysterectomy, termed the Erkilinc technique, in a series of 163 women undergoing surgery for benign conditions. The results indicated that this approach is efficient and safe, with a low complication rate and a significant reduction in surgical time as proficiency improved. Overall, the Erkilinc technique may broaden the use of vNOTES for non-prolapsed uteri while ensuring operative safety and efficiency.
