High Versus Low Transvaginal Cerclage and Pregnancy Outcomes: A Secondary Analysis of the C-STICH Trial

The authors aimed to compare pregnancy outcomes between high and low transvaginal cerclage techniques in women at high risk of preterm birth. Their analysis of the C-STICH trial revealed no significant difference in pregnancy loss rates between the two techniques, but high vaginal cerclage was associated with a slight increase in mean gestational age and a lower incidence of births before 32 weeks.
