Biostatistical Knowledge and Training in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship: A National Needs Assessment of Fellows and Early Career Faculty

This study investigates the adequacy of biostatistical training among neonatal-perinatal medicine (NPM) fellows and early career neonatologists, assessing their confidence in using biostatistical methods. The findings reveal significant gaps in training, with a majority of respondents feeling inadequately prepared for their scholarly work, highlighting the need for a dedicated biostatistical curriculum in NPM fellowship programs to enhance research capabilities and mentorship in the field.
