The authors aimed to evaluate the impact of tumor genomic profiles on the efficacy of adjuvant chemotherapy in patients with resected pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) participating in the PRODIGE-24/CCTG PA6 study. They found that while modified FOLFIRINOX (mFFX) significantly improved disease-free survival in KRAS-mutated tumors compared to gemcitabine, no benefit was observed in KRAS wild-type tumors, suggesting that current treatment strategies should remain unchanged, although the findings regarding KRAS wild-type tumors warrant further exploration.
