Their analysis of two large randomized controlled trials revealed that while MHT did not increase coronary heart disease (CHD) risk in women with favorable lipid profiles, those with elevated LDL cholesterol levels faced significantly higher risks. The findings suggest that assessing lipid profiles could be crucial in determining the suitability of MHT for individual patients.
