Coronal Subarachnoid-Space Measurements in Fetuses with Growth Restriction and Appropriate-for-Gestational-Age Controls: A Prospective Comparative Study

The authors aimed to compare coronal sinocortical width (SCW) and craniocortical width (CCW) between fetuses with fetal growth restriction (FGR) and appropriate-for-gestational-age (AGA) controls, while also assessing interobserver agreement. They found that SCW was significantly smaller in the FGR group, whereas CCW differences varied by gestational age, with no significant difference observed in later gestational windows. The study highlights the need for further longitudinal research to assess the clinical implications of these findings.
