Optimizing Pulsed Field Ablation: Results From a 1,000-Patient Cohort

This study aimed to evaluate the procedural characteristics and long-term outcomes of pulsed field ablation (PFA) for pulmonary vein isolation in atrial fibrillation, while assessing the impact of workflow refinements. The authors found that PFA achieved high efficacy with low complication rates and improved PVI durability, particularly with the implementation of the 10-application "olive" strategy. Overall, the findings support PFA as a standardized and safe approach for atrial fibrillation ablation.
