Revision Hip Arthroscopy: Propensity Score-Matched Comparison of Labral Reconstruction Versus Repair With Minimum 5-Year Outcomes

The authors aimed to compare the midterm patient-reported outcomes of labral reconstruction versus labral repair in patients undergoing revision hip arthroscopy. Their study found that both treatment methods led to significant improvements in patient outcomes, achieving similar rates of clinically important differences and low complication rates over a minimum five-year follow-up. Ultimately, both approaches appear to provide favorable and comparable results for patients with femoroacetabular impingement and labral tears.
