Evaluation of the comparative efficacy and safety of obinutuzumab and other follow-up strategies after rituximab failure in refractory nephrotic syndrome

Listen to this summary

This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of obinutuzumab compared to other follow-up treatment strategies after rituximab failure in children with refractory nephrotic syndrome. The results indicated that obinutuzumab significantly improved relapse-free survival at both 6 months and 52 weeks compared to retreatment with rituximab and anti-CD20-free maintenance therapy, suggesting it may be a promising option for this patient population. No serious adverse effects were reported, highlighting its safety profile.
