The authors aimed to investigate the real-world demographics and survival outcomes of patients with advanced or recurrent endometrial cancer (A/R EC) based on their mismatch repair (MMR) status. They found that among 1452 eligible patients, a significant portion (51%) lacked MMR test results, and those with MMR deficient tumors exhibited better overall survival and treatment outcomes compared to MMR proficient and untested cohorts. This highlights the necessity for improved awareness and testing for MMR status to enhance treatment strategies for A/R EC.
