Progress Toward the Health-Related Sustainable Development Goals: A Case Study of the Academic Model Providing Access to Healthcare (AMPATH)

This study examines the collaborative efforts between the Academic Model Providing Access to Healthcare (AMPATH) and the World Health Organization (WHO) over two decades to advance health-related Sustainable Development Goals (HRSDGs) in Kenya. The authors aim to demonstrate how partnerships among academic institutions, health ministries, and international organizations can effectively contribute to significant improvements in areas such as HIV care, maternal and neonatal health, and biomedical informatics. The findings suggest that this collaborative model can be replicated to achieve progress in HRSDGs globally.
