The authors aimed to evaluate the relationship between evaluation and management (E&M) services, the specialization of radiologists in interventional radiology (IR), and procedural complexity in interventional radiology practices. Their findings indicate that a higher degree of individual radiologist specialization in IR is a stronger predictor of procedural complexity than practice-level specialization, with nonphysician practitioners' E&M services also significantly associated with increased complexity.
