Barriers and Facilitators to Innovation: A Qualitative Study in a Non-Profit Health Care System

The authors aimed to explore how users within a non-profit healthcare system perceive and engage with the organization's innovation management process, identifying barriers and facilitators to innovation participation. Through qualitative interviews, they found that barriers included fragmented pathways and siloed communication, while facilitators encompassed leadership support and collaboration. The study highlights the need for transparent innovation frameworks and supportive organizational culture to enhance innovation efforts and implementation.
