Pregnancy Outcomes in Women with a History of Myocarditis

This study aims to evaluate maternal and fetal outcomes in pregnant women with a history of myocarditis or perimyocarditis. The findings indicate that the majority of these women do not experience adverse cardiac events during pregnancy, although echocardiographic monitoring is recommended to detect any potential declines in left ventricular function. Notably, there were no maternal or fetal deaths reported, and a small percentage of pregnancies resulted in premature delivery.
