Durvalumab With Radiation Therapy in Patients With Inoperable Locally Advanced Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Ineligible for Concurrent Chemoradiotherapy (DART)

The authors aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of concurrent and consolidative durvalumab with definitive radiation therapy in patients with inoperable locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer (LA-NSCLC) who are ineligible for concurrent chemoradiotherapy (cCRT). The study found that this treatment approach achieved a 2-year progression-free survival of 39% and an overall survival of 54%, suggesting it is a promising option for this patient population despite some adverse events.
