Natural History of Fetal Non-Nuchal Lymphatic Malformations: A Single Center Retrospective Study

Listen to this summary

The authors aimed to document the natural history and complications associated with second- and third-trimester non-nuchal lymphatic malformations (LM) and identify predictors of these complications. Their findings indicate that higher lymphatic malformation volume ratios (LVR) are associated with increased risks of hemorrhage and airway interventions in cervical LMs, as well as delivery complications in axillary LMs, suggesting a need for further investigation in larger studies.
