Hantavirus Infection Beyond the Lung: A Multi-Organ Radiological Perspective on Diagnosis, Imaging Modalities, and Precautionary Measures for Radiology Departments

The authors aim to address the clinical and radiological manifestations of hantavirus infections, particularly in light of recent severe cases reported globally. They emphasize the need for radiology departments to be aware of these manifestations, appropriate imaging techniques, and necessary precautionary measures to prevent disease transmission to healthcare personnel and patients. This review seeks to enhance understanding and preparedness in radiological practices regarding hantavirus.
