A Novel Template for Intravesical Botulinum Toxin Injection in Patients With Idiopathic Overactive Bladder: A Cohort Study

Listen to this summary

This study investigates the efficacy and safety of a novel 10-point injection template for intravesical botulinum toxin A compared to the traditional 20-point template in patients with idiopathic overactive bladder (OAB) symptoms. The results indicate that the new template significantly improves symptoms of urgency, frequency, and incontinence, while demonstrating a similar safety profile to the traditional method. Overall, the novel template offers a more effective and practical approach for treating OAB in patients unresponsive to oral medications.
