Vibrational Interventions for Sexual and Pelvic Health: A Randomized Controlled Trial

Listen to this summary

The study aimed to assess whether scheduled vibrator use, combined with an educational handout, enhances sexual and pelvic floor health in women with sexual dysfunction and pelvic floor disorders compared to the handout alone. Results indicated that the vibrator group experienced significantly greater improvements in sexual function, as measured by the Female Sexual Function Index, and higher rates of achieving normal sexual function scores. The findings suggest that incorporating vibrator use may be beneficial in managing these conditions.
