Imaging of the Three-Piece Inflatable Penile Prosthesis

The authors aim to educate radiologists on the normal imaging characteristics and potential complications of the three-piece inflatable penile prosthesis (IPP), which is increasingly used as a first-line treatment for erectile dysfunction (ED). They emphasize the importance of accurate diagnosis through MRI, as well as the utility of other imaging modalities like CT and ultrasound, and propose a structured reporting template to enhance communication with referring clinicians.
