Highlighting the molecular refinement of NSMP endometrial cancer in a case of mesonephric-like adenocarcinoma

The authors aim to address the challenges of diagnosing and treating non-specific molecular profile (NSMP) endometrial cancer (EC) by presenting a case of a 71-year-old woman whose low-grade NSMP EC was reclassified as mesonephric-like adenocarcinoma following comprehensive histopathological reassessment. Through extended molecular profiling, they identified specific mutations and characteristics that aligned the tumor with the aggressive "Cluster 3" subgroup of NSMP tumors, leading to a tailored adjuvant treatment approach. This case highlights the heterogeneity within the NSMP subgroup and underscores the importance of molecular classification in guiding therapy.
