By analyzing data from 64,962 patients over up to 10 years, they identified four trajectory groups, each linked to varying mortality risks, highlighting the importance of routine primary care indicators for early identification of higher-risk patients. The study underscores the need for prospective validation of these findings to inform risk-stratified interventions.
