Their longitudinal study found that while most consultations remained GP- or nurse-led, there was an increase in consultations with ARRS-eligible roles, particularly in less deprived areas, suggesting that ARRS has diversified the primary care workforce and expanded overall capacity without significantly reducing GP workload.
