Expanded prepectoral implant-based breast reconstruction: Long-term outcomes of the ray method

The authors aimed to evaluate the long-term clinical outcomes of the Ray method, an extended acellular dermal matrix (ADM) technique for prepectoral implant-based breast reconstruction. Their retrospective analysis of 224 patients revealed acceptable complication rates, including low instances of wound dehiscence, seroma, and capsular contracture, indicating that the Ray method effectively provides implant coverage and structural support while maintaining stable contour restoration.
