Robotic pedicled appendix graft for urethral reconstruction in penile agenesis: A novel surgical approach

This case report explores the use of a robotic pedicled appendiceal graft for urethral reconstruction in a 10-year-old boy with penile agenesis, a rare congenital condition. The authors aim to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of this novel surgical approach, which combines minimally invasive techniques with the consistent vascular supply of the appendix to achieve both functional and aesthetic outcomes in complex urethral reconstructions. The successful implementation of this method suggests a promising option for similar cases in the future.
